Since switching to Claude Code from Roo Code (which I’d been using with my GitHub Copilot license at work since February 2024) in my personal projects, I’ve had weeks where I barely touch the keyboard, yet accomplish more than I used to in a month. The traditional metrics have become meaningless.

In my side projects I’m experiencing a transition from feature based milestones that would typically be organised in a workplace by story points and velocity tracking, to contextual instruction orchestration.
